To test if you have setup your affiliate program correctly, you will need to do the following:
Sign up as an affiliate using a test "fake" account. You can make up a fake email to use.
Sign in as an affiliate.
Click on Marketing Materials.
Click on the affiliate program you created for affiliates.
Click on the link or banner; this will redirect you to your website.
Select product.
Put through order.
As an admin you should get email notificaiton of the order coming through and also as the affiliate you will get email notification.
Go to your affiliate control panel and double check that you received the commission for the order. Also, double check your admin area to make sure an invoice for the commission was created for the affiliate.
If the software does not track that order and issue commission to the affiliate then you can open a ticket in the customer care area. When you open a ticket, it is important to let our technical team know how they can put through an order so once we fix any problems we can test an order all the way through.
