Field |
Description |
Require
Admin Approval for New Affiliates: |
If
this option is checked then when an affiliate user
signs up for your affiliate program they will not
beaded to your database. The affiliate user will
be added to the Approve Affiliates section and remain
in that section until the administrator approves
the affiliate. |
Notify
Affiliates of Invoice Payment: |
If
this option is checked when the administrator pays
the affiliate user, the affiliate user will receive
an email letting them know the administrator has
paid the affiliate user. To pay an affiliate user
the administrator should search for the sale in
the Manage Invoice section. After you go into an
invoice there is an option to pay the affiliate
user. |
Cookie
Lifetime: |
The
cookie lifetime dictates how long a cookie will
remain action. Once an affiliate user sends a user
to your site, the system automatically stores a
cookie on the users computer. This field is used
to dictate how long that cookie will remain active,
so that the affiliate user will receive credit for
the sale. Therefore, if you have this field set
to 60 days and the user visitors the site and does
not make a sale and returns to the site before 60
days then the affiliate user will still receive
credit for that sale. |
Show
affiliate users a link to refer other users to your
affiliate programs: |
This
option is used if you want to have your affiliate
program be multi-tier. If this option is checked
then affiliate users will be able refer other affiliates
and earn a commission for their referred affiliates. The
exact commission can be specified when you add an
affiliate program on Step two. When you click
on "Add Affiliate Program" on the second step there
is an option to setup your commission for the multi-tier
system. |
Minimum
Payout Amount: |
From
this section you have the option of marking invoices
as "Needs to Pay" when this user's invoice reaches
the desired amount that you set below. Also, you
have the option of automatically marking the invoice
as close when it reaches the desired amount.
IMPORTANT
NOTE: If you have a specific affiliate user that
you want to have a different minimum payout amount
then what is specified in this field, when you add
the affiliate user there is an option to override
the amount that you enter on this page. For
example: you can have all your affiliate users have
a minimum payout of $300.00, but for one affiliate
user you can set their minimum payout to be $200,
so that one user gets marked to be paid when the
amount reaches $200. |
