Step 1 Start the Getting Started Setup

Click "Start Setup" shown below:

Step 2 Add Referral program Name and Description

Step 3 Select the Type of Referral program and add additional Details

You may select to reward your affiliates a percentage of a sale, a fixed amount or a custom reward.
Additionally if you do not want to reward users, you may also just use the software to track referred leads.

Step 4 Select where you want affiliates to send people

You may select to have your affiliates send people directly to your site or to a coupon page.

You have now created an affiliate program for your Bigcommerce. It is time to add affiliate tracking software to your Bigcommerce.

Step 5 Click on Getting Started -> Setup Software

Step 6 In the pop up window click "I want to get code to insert on my landing and thank you page" shown here:

You are now on the Integration page where you can select the shopping cart that you have to get the code for the thank you page.

Step 7 Get code for Thank you page

Select Bigcommerce from the list of shopping carts. You will see the Bigcommerce instructions like these:

Open wp-content/themes/name of your theme/bigcommerce/checkout/thankyou.php and place the code that is shown at the bottom below this line of code: do_action( 'Bigcommerce_thankyou', $order->id );
