How Our Affiliate Software Can Grow Your Business
1. Install Omnistar Affiliate Software on your web server or purchase our hosted version.
2. A New Affiliate User, usually another web site owner, signs up for your affiliate program.
3. Our software will automatically give them a unique link they can use to promote your products or services. Optionally, you can upload banners, text ads, light box ads or peel pages.
4. Your new affiliate user will use the new link, banner ads and other promotional materials to promote your products and services. They can promote your products and services in their email signature, their web site, offline, or search engines.
5. When a web user clicks on the affiliate user's ad, the visitor is sent to your web site. Once at your site, our software will track the visitor and store their information in a flash cookie, browser cookie and IP address. Our software stores their information using all three methods to make sure the affiliate user will be tracked.
6. When the web site visitor decides to buy your product or perform another action where you want to reward the affiliate user, such as fill out a form, then our software will generate a commission for the affiliate user.
Important Note: The following how-to above is only if you are going to use the most common method which is to pay your affiliate users for each sale they send to your web site. This is the most popular way because you have nothing to loose and you do not pay your affiliates users unless they send you a sale. However, this is not the only method in which to use Omnistar Affiliate, you can use our software to do the following:
- Easily setup website replication
- Pay affiliate user for the clicks they send to your web site
- Pay affiliate users for impressions they send to your web site
- Create a separate sub-domain for your affiliate users to advertise for example: (www.Yourdomain.com/affiliate2/
- Create a sub-domain for your affiliate users to advertise for example: (affiliate2.Yourdomain.com)
- Give your affiliate users a promo code they can use on your order form
